Welcome to the adventures of Janae and Laura, and our newest addition: Lindsay. We're in our mid-twenties and single. Weird? Did I mention that we live in Utah? Someday we'd like to make it to that big ol' white building we call the temple, with a handsome gent, which is why we are here. The stories we have are just too good not to share. From crazy stalker exes to dates where the sole topic of conversation is Halo. And we think we are pretty funny, we couldn't just keep us to ourselves. Enjoy!

Legen....wait for it...dary.
Hello readers. I'm sure all of you have been checking our blog religiously over the last 11 months. And I'm sure you've all noticed that we died. Obviously. What else would be keeping us? Well I have good news. We didn't really die. I also have bad news. I have no idea what we have been doing these last 11 months. Please check my Instagrams...that should cover about the last 2 months via pictures. Or you can check my Twitter..that should cover the last 2 months via #hashtags. You can also check Janae's Facebook. She's obsessed, pretty much changes her status hourly. #soflippingannoying #getalifebedke. Soooo....lets pretend the last 11 months never happened. Except maybe the last month.
September 26th was the best day of our lives. We moved out of Turnberry. Now, before we talk about the big move and the changes that came into our lives, we must give props to Turnberry for inspiring us to write this amazing piece of work that is janaeandlaura.blogspot.com. There were days that Turnberry was fun and exciting. There were nights that we Cinco de Mayo party hopped. Those were the days. (The most important part of that last sentence is "were"). Those days are in the past.
Even in the mess of moving we are happy.
Has Janae ever looked so thrilled? I submit that she has not. Not even the prospect of being able to eat Red Mango again doesn't make her as happy. This is serious stuff folks.
After some stressful nights of apartment hunting and even being turned down by what we thought was our dream home, we finally came across The Legends at Riveroaks. And folks, we were wrong. We weren't turned down for our dream home. We got it. Welcome to our new life at legends, where every parking spot is covered. What more could 3 single girls about to endure yet another Utah winter ask for?
Our friends are amazing. Seriously. We moved from one place and were completely into the next in 1hr 30min flat.
Yep...all of our friends were amazing.
So were our parents.
And the finished product..we had it all put together just a few short days later. Pictures hung and all.
So now we are here. Lindsay, Janae and I. What better living situations could the Roommate Gods have created? None I say. Well problem is...I can count on 1 hand the number of times we have all been home at the same time. (Though tonight is one of those nights and tears come to my eyes when I think about how happy our cute little home is when we are all here...oh and Wes. He adds an interesting dynamic.)
So what have we all been up to since we've been here? Well I'm not going to speak for the others. Since we so rarely get to hang out together I think I'll let them speak for themselves. (Yes, that means you lucky readers out there are going to get to read from yet another author, who is also Perfectly Lonely.) As for me, I've begun to brave FHE, ward Volleyball, Stake Conference meetings, etc. by myself. When I first realized this would be my life I wasn't very happy about it. That kinda crap gives me uber amounts of anxiety...but, turns out I like it. Being the new girl and going to activities alone makes it much easier to meet people and make new friends. Our new ward is like most others. There are all sorts of people, which means there are still a few that I could possibly be interested in. Heck...maybe I could find a top 5 in this ward. How would that be? Awesome. I'm on my way.
Janae, Its your turn.
Lin, welcome!
