LOGAN

This is the first fall that I have not been starting a new school year for as long as I can remember. It is seriously painful. I hear people talk about heart break, I know exactly how they feel, my heart was broken the day I left Logan...and it hasn't been the same since. It literally hurts. Geez, it is seriously rough. I absolutely love the fall. Logan in the fall is phenomenal, you haven't been? Then trust me, take a weekend a venture up for a Logan fall experience. I love everything Logan has to offer...Janae can relate most when I say all the things about Logan. I want to write a book I have so much love for that place. Heck, I might ask it to marry me! It's like this magical place where nothing goes wrong, everyone is so blissful, the air is so crisp and delightful, you can go on fine walks around the valley, you can ride the bus for FREE, the mountains are literally right there, oh the wind caves are fantastic with a nice picnic provided by Old Grist Mill, what would a night be without Charlies Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae? The pumpkin walk is a no brainer and big bear or belly bottoms corn maze is a must, even if it is on an awkward date, you want a caramel apple and hot cider, you bet your bottom dollar you can find it at your local FHE, tennis intramurals? Yep, you can join, True aggie night, homecoming, football games, fine activities on the quad including naps and "studying" oh the list goes on and on, I am so grateful I was able to spend 5 years of my life in that gorgeous place, so many memories...please Janae add your thoughts on Logan.

Best Concert Ever NOT Paul McCartney....KELLY CLARKSON

So tonight was quite possibly the most memorable night Laura and I have had since the start of our friendship! (this is huge folks...like 2-ply toilet paper huge!) Yep that's right we went to Kelly Clarkson it was awesome!(think what you will, I know a few of you will not be able to stand in the same room as us after this...I found myself being slightly embarrassed about even going but then I thought..."you know what Laura, you love to sing to Kelly, not just sing, belt actually, there is nothing wrong with that, just be you." Although I'm betting money that tomorrow I will blame my scratchy voice on a football game or something in order to preserve my masculinity!) Not to mention that it was free and we were practically arm distance length away from her. (This was a private concert folks...for all the employees of a company called 4Life, we were some of their esteemed guests, along with 8,000 foreigners..great people watching environment.)As if that wasn't enough, we made some pretty good Portuguese friends...They didn't speak a word of English. (but they spoke the universal language of LOVE) They spent most of the night hitting on Laura's 15 year old sister, Jessica. (lets cut them a little slack, she is a cute 15 year old!) The rest of their night was full of dancing and slowing it down with us during the slow songs. After a great and awkward dance with Joe (we only call him Joe for blogging purposes, his name is probably Steve) he gave me his Portugal flag which is now proudly hanging in our apartment. (actually, he put it around her neck, he didn't try to choke her of course, but rather it was a token of his affection...she later passed it on to Jessica right along with Joe himself.) After a romantic dance with Laura's sister Joe gave her his business card so they could keep in touch. (Did we mention that he doesn't speak a word of English? He wants to keep in touch with her via email...that sounds like a great idea) I thought I was the lucky one getting the flag, but it turns out that Jessica was the lucky one.

Oh, and then there were the Germans.

That was the concert part of our evening, but it actually started out a little more Enlightening.

Topic: Cardigans. Mostly just refer to the pictures below for details. All I have to say is Cardigans on guys look gay. Maybe I am wrong? I don't know you give me your opinion. (I wish we could have made a power point so that we could full convince you, Dave, of how completely wrong you are for even wanting one...or entertaining the thought that you might, maybe someday, want on....let along shopping for one!)

Verdct: Are all cardigans (on males) gay? Yes. Are all gays drawn to cardigans? No. Do what you want but you know where we stand.
