Day 2

Janae and I packed our running clothes. Who doesn't want to go running about the dewey meadows in Ireland? I sure do. Janae sure did too. We went prepared. Did we even go running once while we were there? Nope. A missed opportunity that will surely never present itself again. The problem was that our dang cottage was just too comfy and jetlag was too powerful. After our first day with little to no sleep we were all very happy to get some rest...but we were in Ireland and our time was limited. There was a lot to see. So the ladies decided to wake up at a decent hour so the cranky A boys wouldn't get mad at us for holding them back. So Michelle woke up at the butt crack of down, showered, got ready for the day and went for a walk. She's my hero. Someday I'll be just like her. Janae and I thought we should probably wake up early so Greg doesn’t get ticked waiting for us. We were ready to go around 8ish. No sign of the boys. 9ish...still no sign of the boys. 10ish...nothing. We finally decided to go for a walk. Michelle found us a real cute cafe with gluten free food. We enjoyed a nice brunch, a wonderful Irish walk, took a few pictures and headed back to the cottage....see the adorable images below.

They boys still weren't up when we got back but we were sure they would wake up soon so we decided to stick around. It's not like any of us could drive a backwards car anyway. Finally, at 2pm they roll out of bed. And guess who's ticked...Greg. We should have woken them up he says. The fun continues.

And on to Blarney. Now I'm going to get all weird serious for a minute. This place was gorgeous. Not the castle itself but the gardens. We could have stayed there all day and been totally entertained. Only problem was we didn't get there til way late in the afternoon because of those dang boys and their beauty sleep, we pretty much got locked in the place when it closed. Anywho, we got it all done there. We kissed the stone...that was quite an interesting experience. I did it for the magnet. We trolled the poison gardens, frolicked about the dewey meadows, got shocked by electric fences and had a few awesome photo shoots.

Apparently we went to Cork for dinner. I think we did some walking there but mostly I just remember eating some awesome Turkish food. That is typically how I remember places...by the food. Surprisingly enough this time it wasn't chocolate.

Goodbye Day T-W-O.

Day 3 should be posted sometime within the next 6 months.
